Encrypt if You Can

Encrypt if You Can (EIYC) is a feature that uses ZixGateway’s BMOD delivery protocols to automatically encrypt email sent to another ZixGateway customer, when possible.

Any email sent using the Plaintext delivery method in combination with the Default Policy will invoke Encrypt if You Can. Any email sent using the Plaintext delivery method in combination with a custom policy will not be sent using Encrypt if You Can.

Because email is encrypted at the sending ZixGateway, before it leaves the customer’s network and is decrypted at the receiving ZixGateway, before it is delivered to the user’s Inbox, EIYC provides increased security without impacting the sender or recipient and their business communications.
